They were a busy kid. After high school, they briefly attended Lawrence University in Wisconsin, within which time they wrote and directed their first short film, a dark thriller about mental illness. After enrolling at Chapman University in 2019, Adelaide continued to explore the performing arts, acting in over fifteen short films through the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. They also booked work back home in Iowa, acting in multiple films by Deft Productions in Des Moines. Adelaide was active in Chapman’s theater community, performing in The Vagina Monologues two years in a row, and as Peter, in The Chapman Players Society production of Peter and the Starcatcher. Additionally, Adelaide to worked on multiple original stage shows and short films produced by students at the university, helping in the writers room, or on stage, whenever possible. Adelaide has been trained vocally in Jazz and Classical styles, and continues to make music in Los Angeles, focusing on experimental pop. Adelaide continues to work in theatre and film in Los Angeles, with their most recent productions being the Archetypes production of T, a devised theater performance centering on the transgender, non-binary, and gender fluid experience. Before this, Adelaide starred as The Witch in Into The Woods, a TooLemon production, and as Yitzhak in the Season 10 Stage Production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Adelaide is non binary, and identifies as queer. They don't particularly care which pronouns you refer to them with, however, as they are aware that those who respect them the most, will use they/them when speaking on the artist's name.
